The Department

The Physical Education Department provides the opportunity for all students to participate in a wide range of physical activities both during and after school. The emphasis is on participation for all and the promotion of life long physical activity. The department is currently going through a new phase of development and is continually updating and adding new activities and ideas to the courses on offer. This dynamic department is an integral part of the school and we encourage all students to get involved and have a go.

The Facilities

We are currently raising funds for a new Gymnasium at Chanel College. This is an excellent advancement for our school and will provide the Physical Education with more freedom. We look forward to its construction and the benefits it will provide our students and our community.

We also frequently use the facilities at The Genesis Recreation Centre and Clareville Astroturf pitch.
